Dillman's Creative Arts Workshops - This is the 32nd year of bringing nationally known art instructors and special interest programs to the beautiful Northwood's. Trout Pond Fishing, Memorial Day through Labor Day- William J. Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwa Community College  - a system of post-secondary and continuing education with associate degree and certificate granting capabilities.  Classes offered year-round online or at the Lac du Flambeau campus.  Call 715-5883800, ext 220 for information.  mroffers@ico.edu

Ojibwe Craft Classes- Starts the 3rd week of June and runs through the 3rd week of August. Classes are held at the George W. Brown Jr. Museum and Cultural Center. For more information on specific class topics and to reserve your spot, call 715-588-3333.

14th Annual Lakesfest- held in Downtown Lac du Flambeau from 10 am to 3 pm, displays from State and Tribal departments showing that "Water is Life with in the Sacred Circle." Enjoy live entertainment, canoe races open to the public with cash prizes, Blue Ribbon Carnival and raffles every hour plus a Grand Prize raffle. July 4th Celebration - held throughout downtown Lac du Flambeau with the parade starting at noon. Trophies, Native American crafts and food, Blue Ribbon Carnival, special Pow Wow at 7pm and fireworks following at dusk. 28th Annual - Bear River Pow Wow- Held in the Old Indian Village on the Bear River Pow Wow grounds. This annual event brings tribes from across the nation to celebrate together. Open to the public to share in crafts, food and dancing. Friday Grand Entry is at 7 pm, Saturday 1 pm and 7pm and Sunday 1 pm. Admission Call Teresa Mitchell (715) 588-3333

 LdF Lion's Brewfest Held at Torpy Park in Minocqua from 1 pm to 5 pm. Sample 70+ craft, specialty and micro brewery beers. Enjoy live music, raffles, famous Lion's brats, hotdog's, and burgers. Tickets $25 and includes a commemorative Pilsner sampling glass, proceeds support local charities.
